Hey everyone,

Thank you and welcome to my metamorphosis—a journey from the enigmatic realms of the paranormal to the serene mat of a yoga instructor.

The Haunting Shadows

My fascination with the paranormal began early. As a child, I’d huddle under blankets, devouring ghost stories by flashlight. The unseen, the inexplicable—it held me captive. I explored haunted houses, dabbled in tarot cards, and sought solace in moonlit forests. The veil between worlds was thin, and I danced upon its edge.

But life has a way of nudging us toward unexpected paths. As I grew, so did my hunger for understanding. The spirits whispered, urging me to seek balance—to bridge the ethereal with the corporeal.

From Séances to Sun Salutations

And so, I stepped onto my yoga mat—a sacred space where breath and movement unite. The studio became my sanctuary, the asanas my incantations. Each pose, a prayer; each flow, a spell. I shed my spectral cloak and embraced the warmth of the sun salutation. The ghosts lingered, but now they swirled in the fragrant incense, not as specters but as curious observers.

Inhale. Exhale. The rhythm of life echoed through my veins. I traded séances for savasana, Ouija boards for ujjayi breath. The paranormal clung to me like mist, but I learned to dance with it—to honor both realms.

My writings, once filled with ghostly tales, now weave threads of mindfulness and compassion. The ink flows like prana, infusing each word with intention. My website, too, transforms—a chrysalis awaiting emergence. Expect new pages, fresh insights, and perhaps a touch of magic.

Invitation to You

To my fabulous readers—the ones who’ve journeyed with me through haunted forests and moonlit nights—I extend an invitation. Join me in this new chapter. Let’s explore downward dogs and chakras, side by side. Your presence, your energy—it fuels my metamorphosis. Together, we’ll honor the past while embracing the lotus that blooms within.

Life is a kaleidoscope—a shifting mosaic of light and shadow. As I step into this new role, I carry the paranormal in my heart. It’s not a farewell; it’s an expansion. So, let’s raise our arms, touch the sky, and breathe. The universe winks, and I smile—a yoga instructor with stardust in her veins.

Namaste! 🙏✨

With love and gratitude,

Your guide through realms and asanas…. ~ Sheila ❤️

  1. Thank you for following my blog and I am pleased to return the follow. I enjoyed your post on Empaths and noted it is a gift we are born with. I agree absolutely you cannot learn how to be an Empath. It is natural to us though it can be hard to live with. I have never considered it a curse but a blessing as it is part of our creation within our soul. Looking forward to reading more posts/

  3. Me too but I think every house has its own energy.I still remember a house we went to see once.It had everything we were looking for, but since the first minute I stepped inside I felt a such negative vibe that nearly made sick and could wait to get out.The house is not far from where we live now and still, when I pass it I feel uncomfortable.

    • I agree… Every house has a story to tell. The negative vibes of some homes are definitely not easy to deal with.

And yet, some homes have such a warm and inviting feeling. The house my family and I bought three years ago was built nearly twenty years prior to that. And from the very first moment we viewed the house, we new from its positive energy that it was the home for us.

While doing some renovations, we felt a presence, but nothing harmful, nor malevolent. The presence was just an observing one. I felt as if it was female, a curious one. My husband felt its presence, too as he painted the rooms. The presence would just watch him from the corner of the room.

Since then, nothing else has been detected.

  4. Hi Sheila,
Thanks for Following me blog. I’d like to link from astrobuss to “Hearing Angels,” but most folks don’t follow links, so what I’d Really like to do is quote the whole thing, with a link and your name included. How can I do that, if I can, and respect your copyright?
    Thanks!

      • Thanks, Sheila! I’ve never done a reblog, and WordPress Help said to do it from my “Reader,” which I’d never used (!). But when I tried to find “Hearing Angels” in my Reader, it wasn’t there. I wanted to get this out while Nessus was still Stationary, and after trying several other approaches, I decided to “simulate” a reblog – does it look okay?

  6. You went and done it. You went and followed Uncle Bardie’s Stories & Such. You are now one of Uncle Bardie’s Band of Merry Followers. Just so you know, Uncle Bardie’s a hoot, and he’s got quite a few whoppers in his bag of stories. Some funny, some not so funny. But all told for your entertainment. Thank you for following his blog.

  7. Hi Sheila, your name keeps popping up in my emails so I figured it was about time that I meet you. You have a very strong presence… I know you are a busy person, but I am hoping to get a conversation going via email. We have something to share with each other.

  8. Hi Sheila, thanks for the follow. I’m afraid I’m not much into the paranormal. However, given your name I wonder are we related? My father’s family lived in London before WWII. That ring any bells (or stir any spirits!) for you?

  9. Hi Shelia—-yiu recently starting checking out my blog at Movies Ala Mark and this is the first chance I’ve had to say Thanx. I’ve been on the Amazon, in Leticia,Colombia, for the past month and the Internet, such as it was, was S-L-O-Wwww, so I had to wait until I returned to civilization (ha!) to post this greeting and thank you. Look forward to following your work and hope you get some smiles out of mine. Cheers, Mark
